Xcel Heating and Air Conditioning are offering a rebate of up to ten percent of a qualified residential installation of a certified system. While this type of rebates has been offered for some time, there is also the new Residential Xcel Furnace Rebate that is designed to help people save money on their next residential heat or air conditioning system. The program helps those who qualify to receive a rebate on the total cost of the installation which could be anything from several thousand dollars to several hundred dollars. The rebate amount will be calculated by dividing the total cost of the system by the average of the number of units that will be in the home.
There are a few different ways to get the rebate. For those who meet certain requirements, their homes could have qualified for the rebate already. If not, homeowners can request for assistance through the Energy Partnership Program and Xcel Heating and Air Conditioning can send a letter explaining the program. Both of these programs allow for residents to be reimbursed up to fifty percent of the rebate which makes the rebate for the system not only very affordable but also very attractive. Those who have smaller homes could even qualify for one of the rebates as well.
Those who qualify for the rebate are those who own single-family homes, condos, town homes or rental properties. In order to qualify, the homeowner must have an existing heating or air conditioning system installed or be a resident of the zip code for at least three months before the date of application. The best thing about the rebate is that it can be taken at any time and for any reason. A regular inspection may also be required by the rebate provider, so there is no need to worry about whether or not your system will qualify. While there is not a set time frame for receiving the rebate, it typically takes around three to six months for the payments to be made.
